I expected much less quality than I got with this product. The Carbon Fiber finish is excellent, as is the finish of the metal parts, and the plastic bits are also of a high quality. My only issue is that I recently upgraded to an iPad 2, which is quite loose in the tray as it is slightly smaller than the original iPad. However, upon contacting Joy Factory I was told that an updated tray for the iPad 2 will be available within a few weeks.
Very pro-active customer service and an all around quality product. I highly recommend it.

I love this iPad mount from The Joy Factory. It has made my mobile work life so much easier. The device is very well built and attractive in appearance. I had ordered one other device from another company and was not satisfied. The Joy Factory kept me informed about the delivery and even sent me photos of the attachment devices that came with the unit. It is bolted to the seat bolt and they send 3 different anchors. One is straight, the second at a 90 degree angle and the third at a 45 degree angle. My Honda Crosstour was a tight fit but I bolted the 45 degree angle to the straight anchor and jury rigged it to fit perfectly.
The adjustments that you can make to position your iPad are infinite. This is a well made product that surpasses my expectations for function, appearance, quality workmanship, attractiveness and wonderful seller support.
I have nothing negative to say. The Joy Factory is FANTASTIC!!!!

You need a heavy duty wrench to remove the bolt at the seat. I had to drive to a gas station garage to borrow a wrench that can loosen that bolt.
The Ipad mount needs to be more secure. The Ipad backing will fall off the mount if you do not position it correctly.
This item works if you know how to play around with it... Otherwise it is not a user-friendly product.
